PRIVACY POLICY
Terms Of Service for Working with Jacqui McGinn & Pieces To Peace Healing
Thank you for choosing to connect with the work of Jacqui McGinn and Pieces To Peace Healing. These terms are here to clarify how we work together, set respectful boundaries, and make sure everything flows as smoothly and safely as possible for both of us.
1. Who These Terms Apply To
These terms and conditions apply to anyone purchasing services (like courses, workshops, coaching, or healing sessions) from Jacqui McGinn and Pieces To Peace Healing, whether the order is made via website, bank transfer, or in person. By placing an order, you’re confirming that you understand and agree to these terms.
1a. Age Considerations
To honour the maturity and readiness needed for healing and self-development work, clients must be over 18 to book services. Newsletter subscribers must be at least 16 years old.
If we discover that someone under these ages has signed up or made a purchase, we’ll issue a refund and remove access. This is not a judgement—it’s about safety, appropriate boundaries, and ensuring people have the life experience needed for this kind of deep work.
2. Booking a Session or Course
Booking any service with Jacqui McGinn and Pieces To Peace Healing is taken as agreement to these terms. If you have any questions or need clarity before purchasing, please feel free to get in touch—we want you to feel confident and respected every step of the way.
3. Prices
Prices are listed in British pounds (GBP) and may change over time. However, once you’ve placed an order, the price at the time of booking is the one that applies. All paid services include personalised feedback, which means they are not classed as strictly digital downloads and are not subject to VAT at this time.
4. Payment
Payment is due when you make your booking, including for any pre-orders.
You can pay using:
All payment platforms used are secure and encrypted. While we do our best to choose reliable providers, the final responsibility for payment security lies with Stripe, PayPal, and GoCardless respectively.
5. Delivery of Services
Most services are delivered via online platforms such as Systeme.io, Canvas or GoBrunch.com and some are delivered via email. Please double-check your email address when ordering as mistakes there can delay or block access. If you notice a problem, just get in touch and we’ll sort it out together.
6. Respecting Your Privacy
Your trust is deeply valued. Any personal data you share will be handled with care and in line with UK data protection law (the Data Protection Act 2018).
If you sign up to our mailing list, you’ll receive occasional updates and offers, but you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the emails. Even if you unsubscribe, we may still contact you about things directly related to your purchase—like session reminders or follow-ups.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Life happens, and sometimes you need to move a session. If you give at least 24 hours’ notice, you’re welcome to rebook at a time that suits us both. Less than 24 hours’ notice may mean the session is lost, as that time has been set aside for you and could have been offered to someone else.
That said, if something truly unexpected happens (like illness or emergency), just let us know. Compassion and communication go a long way, and we’ll do our best to find a solution.
8. Refunds
Generally, refunds are not offered once a service has been booked. However, in exceptional circumstances—and at our discretion—we may consider a refund or offer a credit for future work. Our preference is always to rebook where possible, as we know sometimes it’s just not the right day for the work to unfold.
9. Disputes and Concerns
We believe healing happens best in an atmosphere of mutual respect. If a concern arises, we encourage open and honest communication. Please reach out—we’ll do our best to listen with care, understand what’s happened, and work together toward a resolution that honours us both.
If we can’t find a way forward together, we may pause future work until a resolution is found. In some situations, involving a neutral third party or mediator may help support the process.
We also reserve the right to decline future services where trust has broken down or where the values of mutual respect and emotional safety cannot be upheld.
10. Special Terms For Oracle Card Readings
Oracle cards are a beautiful tool for reflection, insight, and intuition. In our work, they may be used to support your own inner awareness and decision-making.
For legal and insurance purposes, please note that oracle card readings are offered for entertainment purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. You are always encouraged to follow your own inner guidance and seek appropriate professional support when needed.
